- The cart should have interior and exterior mirrors along with reflex reflector.

In addition, street legal golf carts must have an identification number and a certificate from the manufacturer that it is a slow-speed vehicle.
Street legal golf carts are not intended for transport on public roads and National Highways. You will have to check the rules and regulations of traffic regarding this aspect. The popularity of these carts is steadily gaining as rules are not very stringent for their use. Federal licensing requirements are not necessary for these carts. Most States have done away with the driving license for the use of these carts. There is no age limit and in several places children and senior citizens can safely use them legally. Using these carts is safe, enjoyable, economic, convenient, comfortable and legal.
